Customer Receipts can be printed or e-mailed from iPad or Android terminals, Tableside devices and from the Upserve Mobile app. Review this article to learn how to print and email receipts. Click the quick links below to jump to any section.

Print a Receipt from Android & iOS Terminals

  • Select the check you want to print a customer receipt for. 
  • Tap the Print Receipt button at the top of the check. 

    -Or-

  • Tap Done, then tap Payments
  • The Payments screen appears. 
  • Tap Print Receipt.

Reprint a Receipt 

  • Tap Payments
  • Tap on the card you need to print a signature slip for
  • Tap the reprint button on the bottom of the screen
 

Email a Receipt from Android & iOS Terminals

  • Open the check that requires an emailed receipt
  • Tap the More button at the top of the check
  • Select Email Receipt from the drop-down menu
  • Enter customer's email address, then tap Send

Print a Receipt from Tableside or Upserve Mobile

  • Open the check that requires a printed receipt
  • Tap the three dots button at the top right of the check
  • Tap Print Receipt

  • The receipt will print to the assigned 'Customer Receipt Printer' for the device (Tableside or Upserve Mobile app)

Email or Print a Receipt from Tableside or Upserve Mobile (Sign-On-Screen)

On Tableside or the Upserve Mobile app, you can email and/or print customer receipts when processing credit card payments using the "sign-on-screen" flow.
  • Select the check that requires payment
  • Click on Payment
  • Dip, swipe or tap the credit card to authorize
  • Enter the guest's email address in the E-mail Receipt field or tap Print Receipt 
  • If sending an email: tap the arrow key and a message will appear that says "Your receipt is on the way." 
  • Click Done to close the check

Note: If you need to email a receipt after the credit card is authorized and the check is closed, you will need to email the receipt from a stationary terminal (See Emailing a Receipt from Android & iOS Terminals)
